| The F350 unit hub is an economical and bulletproof way to upgrade from a conventional truck floater. MW offers axles with the "donut spline adapter" and cover that are made to fit the 2005 - 2010 OEM hub. Our splines are manufactured with a slight crown that allows some misalignment without bowing the axle shaft. This bowing creates force on the center section that increases loads on gears and bearings. Weld cups for the hub are available for 3-1/2" and 4.00" tube housings. Similar to a traditional housing end, cut the OEM housing ends off and weld the hub cup on to the axle tube. Then, bolt the unit hub on and install axles. | ||
