The drive stud is designed so the 11/16" diameter shoulder on the stud is used to center the wheel, rather than the lug nut used with smaller studs. This system dramatically increases shear strength and eliminates bent wheel studs. These studs require 5/8"-18 threaded holes in the axle flange. Studs are then secured in the flange with a jam nut. Wheels are held in place with an open end flanged lug nut and an aluminum snap-lock washer that prevents marring the wheel. Each kit comes with 10 studs, 10 self locking jam nuts , 10 spacer snap-lock washers, & 10 snap-lock lug nuts. Installation - Service instructions can be found on Service Bulletin #0004.
